Episode Eleven – Holy Grail and Concert Review

This week, we continue to slobber over the greatness of Valient Thorr with a concert review, also featuring The Kickass, Royal Thunder, and Holy Grail. We were so impressed with Holy Grail that we decided to feature them in our band of the week. If you’ve not heard of them, you can find out all about this great, shredding band here.

Also, back online this week is a full version of Metal or Not (thanks to @Tropizm for finding a fix).  Check the MoN page and cast your vote.

It’s a bit of an abbreviated show this week, but what can we say? We’re old men and that concert left us longing for a nap. We’ll be back in full force next week. We promise.

Episode Ten – Valient Thorr

This week: We…Are…THORRIORS! We’ve gone on and on about our love for Valient Thorr in the past, so we figured it was time to dedicate an entire segment to this incredible band. They’re on tour now, so hit that link and check them out.

Beyond that, we discuss Metallica’s mission to catch a killer, the never-ending saga of Geoff Tate, overzealous fans, and whether or not Metallica’s landmark album “…And Justice for All” secretly sucks.

Thanks for listening!

Episode Nine – The Sword

We’ve got a very special guest for this one. Moe, from the DGRadio podcast joins us to talk metal and inject his special brand of nonsense to the podcast. Together, we discuss Faith No More’s Angel Dust album, the continuing saga of Glenn Danzig’s douchebaggery, and Kirk Hammett’s killer horror memorabilia collection.

The featured band this week is The Sword. You may not have heard of them, but we hope you take the time to dig into their catalog. The last song is from Kreator. It’s called “United in Hate”, and you can find it right here.

Episode Eight – White Zombie

This week, we take a bit of a different approach. Zombies are in the news, so we go with a full-on zombie theme and our news segment veers away from metal. But don’t worry! There’s still plenty of music and metal talk, and we stand in defense of White Zombie and their namesake leader. Also, we go after Geoff Tate and his killer PR skills, plan a trip to the GWAR-B-Q, and try to decide what Lemmy would do when faced with a zombie horde.

Thanks for listening!
