Episode Twenty Three – Exodus

In this episode, we cover one of the original thrash bands, Exodus. Do they get enough credit? Or are their lineup changes and inconsistent releases to blame for their second-tier status in the pantheon of great metal bands?

We cover the ongoing Randy Blythe saga, salivate over the Metal Alliance tour, and play with the James Hetfield sound board. And, in a surprising turn of events, John decides he’s going to turn over a new leaf and be more positive following a Twitter encounter with Eddie Trunk.

Episode Twenty Two – Five Finger Death Punch

Well, what can we say? We can’t like – or at least pretend to like – everything that comes our way. So with that in mind, we took on Five Finger Death Punch, a band that has some excellent riffs, but is just a little too emo for us.

Beyond that, we announce the winner to our What Would Lemmy Do? contest, discuss how AC/DC has finally joined us in the 21st Century, comment on the odd choices for Top Ten Metal Lyricists of all time, and detail the upcoming release of Metallica’s Quebec Magnetic. Oui! Oui!

And here’s something new: subscribe to our Spotify Playlist to listen to the music from each episode!
