We’re back, mutha-suckas! After a long summer hiatus, we jump right back into metal news, discussing the new Overkill album, Judas Priest tour dates, and a super group (of sorts) called Devil City Angels. We’re then interrupted by John’s wife, who hijacks the show with her Bret Michaels fixation. Women, right?

With apologies for the long gap between episodes, we return to bring you some crazy metal news. For example, did you ever think you’d hear Chuck Billy singing Thriller? What about Gene Simmons performing the National Anthem? Speaking of Gene, is his hair piece made out of Brillo? What exactly is going on up there?
In addition, we give reviews of the Iron Maiden beer as well as Metallica’s new IMAX 3D movie, “Through the Never.” SPOILER: It’s awesome!
And finally, we’re giving away a copy of the new Black Label Society BluRay “Unblackened”! Listen for details on how to win.

Okay, that’s not true. But while going through the Prince of Darkness’s catalog, we did realize that perhaps there are more misses than hits. But hey, Ozzy is a legend and we give him his due in this episode, going through the best of his solo career.
Additionally, we discuss Jason Newsted’s upcoming album and his recent comments about “saving Metallica”, and beat the dead horse that is Dave Mustaine. Is his new album terrible? Listen and find out.
We also debut a new contest! Simply write us an email and you could win a $20 Spotify gift card. It’s that easy!
You may be wondering, “What’s with that artwork?” Well, we commissioned Valient Himself from our favorite band Valient Thorr to draw us a little something for the podcast. Stare at it. Let it sink in. Enjoy!
We’re both a bit crabby and cynical today, but don’t let that dissuade you. We’ve still got a show full of great music for you with one of the best thrash bands around. We give you a review of the Metal Alliance tour, talk about Phil Anselmo’s upcoming solo album, wonder who’s going to see Black Sabbath, and agree that nostalgia tours suck ass.
In this episode, we marvel at the beautiful absurdity of Steel Panther. I mean, come on. How can you not shake your head and laugh when you hear a title like “It Won’t Suck Itself”? Is it juvenile? Sure. But if you were around for the 80s hair metal scene, you know that Steel Panther’s parody isn’t far off the mark.
Sadly, it’s not all fun and games this week. Our news is a bit on the somber side as we discuss the final chapter in the Randy Blythe trial, and bid fairwell to Clive Burr of Iron Maiden.

After a brief vacation, we’re back with more metal. In this episode, we discuss whether or not Dave Mustaine is really a prolapsed rectum, why we don’t want to know where King Diamond lives, why red wine is more metal than white wine, and argue over Kill ‘em All vs. Killing is My Business.
Bands discussed this episode: Deicide, Slayer, Guns n’ Roses, Overkill, Iron Maiden, Accept, and more.
Our featured song this week is “Wrong Answer” by Municipal Waste. Thanks to Rusty for the suggestions. To check out the awesomely low-budget video, click here.
